Academy Hoboken

In 2018, Juventus Academy Camp Hoboken launched its project bringing the Juventus Way here to the NYC/NJ Waterfront and has never looked back. Participants in the Juventus Camp distinguish themselves through fair play, behavior, passion, as well as footballing ability. Participants are constantly introduced to the training methods of Italy's premier football club and one of the world's elite. Our Summer Camp and Winter Clinics were simply the beginning of Juventus's presence here in our area, with bright hopes and dreams for months and years to come as we are in the final stages of preparation to launch our FULL-TIME TRAINING ACADEMY which is an unbelievable achievement. As we await this pandemic to be put behind our society, we hope to be able to open our academy in the fall of 2020!

Training camp

Since its inaugural camp in 2018 where we saw over 75 children enrolled, we brought to our area our Winter Training clinics that prepared the way for 5 amazing players of ours to join forces with Juventus Academy Houston to form a team that competed at the 2019 Juventus Academy World Cup, marking an amazing first for our young Academy. Our 2019 Summer Camp was an even greater success as over 120 children enrolled and participated in an unbelievable training experience.

Juventus Way

Our approach

What do we mean by the “Juventus Way”? Following on from our philosophy, we aim to develop footballers through a vision which combines technical aspects with mental, emotional and interpersonal ones. Our methodology can be summarised in five points:

STYLE OF PLAY

Dictate proceedings, keep possession of the ball and stay calm. Focus on individual initiative and collective hard work.

TECHNICAL ABILITY

Honed through dynamic drills that aim to perfect every technical skill. The development of each individual player is placed at the heart of every exercise.

TACTICAL ABILITY

Run through several detailed individual and team match situations, to be alternated throughout the week.

MENTAL FACTOR

Train the individual to make effective decisions in match situations. Develop their speed of thought to adapt with changeable tactical and technical scenarios.

EMOTIONAL AND SOCIAL FACTOR

Promote an identity fostering the values of sacrifice, bravery and teamwork, to be applied both on and off the pitch.
